»Two thousand of our four thousand parishioners are foreigners from 60 different nations. Last Sunday I baptized a Gypsy baby; the Sunday before that a Portuguese child, before that a child from Ghana. I’ve also got a German child waiting, but it’s got whooping cough at the moment. Yes, the young German families are all moving out into the suburbs.«
